HOW TO SURVIVE SHS

These are 10 weird but working tips on how to survive your Senior High School Life:

1.  Exam Day Review: This part is where you review your notes on the day of the exam. If you review earlier like 3 days before or 2 days before the exam, you might forget what you have studied. If you review on the exact day of the exam, you brain would be photographic and it will remember what you have studied.

2. Friday Home works: Do you HWs as early as Friday so when Saturday and Sunday comes, you can do nothing. Just sleep, play and etc.

3. Note-Taking: Take notes of the lessons especially the new one. What’s the use of number 1 if you don’t have number 3 right?

4. Sleep Sleep: If your really tired, then go to sleep. It’s hard to study when you are really tired

5. No computer? Hello classmate!: IF you do not have any computer to do your home works, instead of renting computers, do it with your classmates to save money.

6. After Math of school: After school, go home and 30 minute to 1 hour break. Save energy for incoming school works.

7. School work not Home work: On weekdays, do your home work at school, so your classmates could help you.

8. Periodical Exams Only: It is okay to not take your quizzes and seat works seriously as long as you pass your periodical exams and projects. You won’t fail I swear.

9. Schedule: Make yourself a schedule so you can control your time and manage it wisely.

10. Friends: Make friends to survive you Senior High School life. You’ll know it when you reach SHS.

Introduction to Hope Christian Academy

Hope Christian Academy is a Christian school providing good quality elementary and secondary education. It is organized in accordance with the policies and standards set by the Department of Education. (DEPED)

Established in 1994, HCA Started with only fifteen pupils in one classroom under pre-school (Nursery and Kinder 1). With the aim to expand and grow as a premier Christian educational institution, the number of students and grade levels increased with every succeeding year. Just only five years after its founding,

HCA accommodated both pre-school and elementary levels by 1999. In 2005, the school welcomed its first high-school students under first and second year, and by 2008 held its first secondary school graduation. In 2015, HCA started accepting senior high school students aligned with the K-12 curriculum.

Motto

We at HCA believe that each child is a unique gift from God, and it is our responsibility as a Christian educational institution and responsible citizens to:

“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he cannot depart from it”. – Proverbs 22:6

Our Philosophy

  1. HCA adheres to the following Bible-based educational philosophy:1.The entire process of education is a means by the Holy Spirit to bring the student into fellowship with Jesus Christ. She/he will be trained in God’s living so that he/she can fulfill God’s ultimate purpose in life, personally and vocationally.

2.We place ourselves under the authority of the infallible word of God. What the bible           says is God’s Standard for man’s faith and practice in life. (2 Timothy 3:7-15)

3.Man must study the bible and its precepts so he may understand God as well as his            own nature. He as a person created in God’s image, must be developed and related            to God as a whole person, spiritually, mentally, physically and socially. (2 Timothy              2:15)

SCHOOL HYMN

Hope Christian Academy

In our hearts we remember thee

Your guidance, love and teachings

We will always keep

The name of Jesus you declared to us

The life of Jesus you have taught to us

The way of Jesus you have shown us

That we may reign in our lives

Once a child, now has grown

Those not known, now we know

You’ve been an instrument of God’s wisdom

Which we can now bring along

The Knowledge gained we will keep in our minds

The truth we’ve known in our hearts we bind

Lets talk about them wherever we go

And write them on our gates

To Jesus our Savior

The glory we give.
